Most midi beds use standard UK single mattresses. The top bunk comes with a security rail for extra peace of mind. Some models have a pull-out trundle drawer that can be used for sleepovers, or to add more storage space under the bed. These can be either open or fitted with a door (please refer to the product's specifications for more details).

A lot of midi cabins have the option of a desk that can be moved between two upper levels, or chests of drawers. This gives children a bespoke space to store their belongings, meaning that there's no need to take the floor space by putting up large wardrobes or shelving units.

A few models have even taken it one step further by adding cabinet-style storage that is flush mounted or is part of the headboard/footboard. This is perfect for storing toys and books.
