The Eufy S1 Pro

This is the model you should select if you're looking for a robot vacuum cleaner that also mop. It's smaller than the other options on this list making it easier to maneuver through tight corners and under furniture. It has a 220 degree Lidar which, when combined with the 3D Matrix Camera System, gives it one of my top navigation and object avoidance features I've seen in the form of a robotic vacuum. It has a hefty 4600mAh battery that can last for up to 170-minutes, if mopping and suction are set to standard mode (it is able to run longer in turbo). It can even return to the dock to replenish its battery part way through a clean.

It's very fast and does a fantastic job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It vacuums the carpeted rooms incredibly quickly and the hardwood floors in the hallways, and living room in a single sweep. Its suction motor of 8,000pa makes short work of picking up dirt, droppings and pet hair. Carpet detection boosts power automatically when it comes in contact with carpets and the dual side brushes help draw away debris from corners.

The mopping performance is a little less impressive, though not by a lot. The mop's rotating motor spins at a high rate and it pushes down with 2.2lbs of force, easily scraping away dirt and staining. I've noticed that the front arm protrudes out a little more than other robots. This is useful in tight corners or along baseboards. The front arms can also be used to pick up larger debris like broken toys and books.

Another great feature is that the S1 Pro is one of the quietest robot vacuums and mops I've tried. It doesn't make the same amount of noise while vacuuming or mopping and is quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The only downside is that the S1 Pro must use a proprietary cleaning solution for its mopping function and is sold separately from the vacuum. It is simple to install, and it works well. However, if you are buying this robot best automatic vacuum solely for mopping purposes you must be aware of this.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo is different from other robot vacuums in its class. It is a powerful cleaner with a wide range of features.

The device has a powerful and impressive cleaning system that combines LiDAR sensors with an RGB camera to map the home and locate furniture and other obstacles. The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni robot vacuum is the most expensive in our review. It does however, have some unique features which are worth a look. The X1 Omni is notable for its enormous dock that doubles as a charging base for the robot, a sink for cleaning and two water tanks that are 4 liters in size. It also houses two bins: a 2.5-liter dust bin and an 2.5 liter dust bin.

The base also has a number of control buttons that allow you to start cleaning, recall the robot, or start the dock's auto-emptying process. Hold down two of the buttons to turn off a child lock that is a great feature for parents who are worried about their children playing with the vacuum.

Like other best robotic mop and vacuum vacuums the X1 Omni utilizes its camera to spot furniture and obstacles in its path and avoid them. Its True Mapping 2.0 navigation system will map your home 10 times faster than standard laser detection systems and is four times more precise at recognizing objects.

The X1 can be prone to become stuck when it is entangled in a hazard, such as a power cable tangled over a rug. It won't work until you untangle it manually. While this was rare, it was a frustrating experience when it happened particularly since the X1 Omni does not come with a "stuck" status alert in its app.

The X1 Omni isn't able to automatically switch from mopping to vacuuming mode during cleaning. You'll have to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't that bad but the mopping pad isn't cleaned or dried between use. This can cause mildew and mold.

On the bright side it's worth noting that the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking robot thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who conceptualized its modern and sleek base as well as mopping pad apparatus. It's a huge difference from the utilitarian black bases of competitors like Roborock or iRobot. It's also a welcome sight for a market dominated by clunky boxes.
