The majority of robot vacuum-mop combinations can be customised using an application designed specifically for the purpose. You can save maps of your house, create cleaning schedules and select the mopping mode you prefer. You can also alter the suction power, and the amount of water your mop uses.

A mapping feature can help your robot navigate rooms and obstacles, while an obstacle avoidance function prevents it from running into furniture, wires or stray pet toys. These are must-have features in my house, filled with toys that are scattered about.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the flagship vacuum of the company and mop, comes packed with features. It can sweep and mop simultaneously, and lift its mop pads or brushes to ensure that soft surfaces don't get wet. It can also see and avoid obstacles, thanks to the ability to recognize pets, plants and other small objects.

The robotic vacuum has a suction power of 6,000 pascals which is more than any other robot vac we've tested. It is also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR Navigation to track its location, preventing it getting stuck on a surface.

Mopping capabilities are also impressive and the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of 6 Newtons to the mop pad to provide an intense clean. It also features an best automatic vacuum mop lifting system which lifts the pad when it transitions from laminate to tile hardwood, carpet and rugs to avoid soaking these types of soft surfaces.

Additionally in addition, the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying features. The pad can be rinsing and heat-drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty before returning to the dock. You can set it up and forget about it. It is only necessary to refill the water tank, or replace the dust bag occasionally.

This is all powered by a lithium-ion battery of 5,200mAh. I ran it on its normal vac and mop settings for around 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to be power-deficient and then return to its base to recharge. This isn't that far from the 180 minutes Roborock claims and is at the same level as other hybrids I've tried.

This is a very robust and well-rounded product with the only drawback being that it's costly. But, the sheer number of features makes it a very tempting option for anyone who wants to go away from their old stick vacuum and mops. If you can afford the price, we highly recommend checking this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a high-end robot vacuum and mop combo. The high price is justified by the powerful features, such as a huge vacuuming capability, as well as two gyrating mop heads. It has an app-enabled smart controller as well as powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuums and mop combinations out there at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it performed well across the house. It was able to remove 98.4 percent of debris from any type of floor and was able to lift hair that was long without getting caught up in. The mops also performed well with excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models. This was thanks to their rotational motion and an effective dose of cleaning solution.

The L10S Ultra's main highlight is its multifunctional docking station. The docking station empties the trash bin into a bag that can be used for dirt, then refills the water tank for mopping and even dries mop pads. It is equipped with a real-time danger detection system, and its intelligent controls allow you to schedule regular cleaning sessions.

Contrary to the other hybrid mops that I test and compared, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris pickup performance on carpets. The mops in the L10S Ultra are not as effective at removing stubborn staining as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's top-of-the-line features, it still requires regular maintenance. Its base station has to be cleaned and the water and dust tanks should be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly to avoid unpleasant odors and mildew. The mop pads sold separately will require replacement every few months.

With the L10S Ultra's high-end cost and robust features I would recommend it to anyone with the budget for it. If you're on a tight budget I suggest a more basic model that lets you to save money and enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. It's worth noting that even it's true that the L10S Ultra is the best automatic vacuum and mop robotic vacuum and mop combination you can buy however, its cost and maintenance costs will eventually make it more of a desire rather than a requirement.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robot mop and vacuum that will remove dust and dirt on your hard floors, while taking care of wet mess you should look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This high-powered mop and robovac combo packs a strong 8,000 Pa of suction power and a huge battery that can be used for both vacuuming and mowing and a top-of-the-line obstacles-avoiding. It even has a roller mop that cleans itself while moving this makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that need to return to their base station mid-cleaning to rinse off the mop pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping mechanism that is distinct from the spinning discs and microfibre pads that are found on other robots. The roller is nearly the entire width of the robot, and it gets a constant supply of clean, ozonated filtered water from the dock. As it rotates the roller, it scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt and any dry debris is picked up by the side brushes or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro is able to dump mop water that is dirty into its base station where it is sucked by the tank's heater elements and it is emptied into a bigger storage container. The onboard tank holds plenty of water, and it can manage about a dozen mopping sessions before going dry.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use right out of the box as do other robotic vacuums/mops. The S1 Pro does need to be refilled with clean water. This is easily done in the cleaning dock. If you'd like to use your own cleaner, you can add cleaning solution to dock. However, if you do opt for this feature you'll have to purchase the cleaning solution from Eufy, which is more expensive than other robot brands that allow users to use their own cleaning products.

The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and navigation efficiency tests, as did most robots. It was fast to map a room, and it was able to navigate around furniture. It sat on carpets with longer piles a couple of times during my tests. However, this could be improved by updating the software. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that provides lots of features at affordable prices.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's cheapest mop and vacuum, but it still has some amazing features. The dock's multifunction allows emptying the robot's dirtbag, refilling its water tanks and cleaning and sanitizing the mop pads is done by the dock. The mopping system can be able to clean a large area prior to returning to its dock. The vacuum's powerful suction is perfect for picking up pet hair and other debris that accumulates on carpets.

The app that runs the appliance is extensive, and provides a variety of options for customizing the cleaning process. You can set it up manually to start a full map and take care to clean everything that is that is mapped by the device or you can select individual rooms, expandable zones or even a schedule you've set up. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It uses the sensors on the mops to map out the space and determine the most efficient way to clean it.

Like all the Roborock models we've evaluated The Qrevo performs well in our tests. Its navigation system is efficient, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning in a neat way. Its 'Normal' pathing setting does a great job of covering a space, with no gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance works well, but it's not as advanced as color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect dangers like thick carpets but it might not always detect small things like rug tassels, or electrical wires.

This machine has one major flaw: it does not have a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for those who vacuum a lot before using their robot. There's a simple solution to this issue: the app offers a feature that allows you to "clean up" at the conclusion of every vacuuming session. This allows you to use the vacuum's mopping capability to get rid of the last remnants of dust and debris left behind by your vacuuming. This is a nice feature that lets this vacuum clean a little better than its competitors with lower prices.
