Is Item Upgrade As Important As Everyone Says?

Upgrades can increase the stats of a piece of equipment and at times even add additional features. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random enhancements applied.

The racial Shield elite Razortail for instance, is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption function in PvP or add additional defenses to missile-based build in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable over the unupgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens are a way to reroll an item you have acquired, such as a weapon, armor, or rings. This allows you to swap the item for one similar item and comes with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens are an efficient method of upgrading equipment. They don't maintain the original equipment's condition and any money wasted aren't rewarded.

Survivors may acquire reroll tokens by a variety of means like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. Players can reroll equipment in three categories: physical power, spell power, and health. Upgrades to physical power can increase the damage of melee and weapons attack while upgrades to spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades give the player an extra health.

Three types of reroll tokens are available such as upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each upgrade elevates an item to a higher-quality, with the requirement of an upgraded reroll token in order to produce it. Enhanced upgrades require a common item, while rare upgrades require a unique or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

Requirements
