Testing can be a bit difficult as there are two different pins for the connector and they perform different functions but the best method to test it is to measure resistance between the sensor and the ECU. If the sensor is functional, it should read about 1000 ohms. Look for signs of coolant or oil in the connector bay if there are problems with this part.
2. Injectors
Yesterday, while accelerating at full speed from the highway paytoll i had an abrupt drop in power as if the engine was running out of gas or the injectors are not firing any more. I pulled out the spark plugs this morning, 3 were soaked in gasoline, and the fourth was dry. When I start the engine without sparks, i place a tissue on the top of each hole in the injector and the 3 that were drenched in gazoline leap out, however the 4th one stays closed. I tested the ground connection on ECU pins 14/55,30/55 and 48/55 I get 0ohm. Therefore, i think the issue is elsewhere.
I also tried to reset PID without success. The car will start when the G28 is disconnected, but it runs fine with the G28 plugged in. However, the intermittent misfire problem continues to occur at higher RPM. The temperature sensor for coolant (G62) shows the wrong temperature value of that is -49c even after unplugging it. I also noticed that the oil gauge in the cockpit shows 2 bar when the actual pressure is zero.
I'm not sure what to do, i think i've pretty much eliminated everything else. I'm afraid i may have missed something. Please let me know if you have any ideas! TIA!
3. Fuel Pump
