World of Warcraft - item level upgrade Upgrading

The item upgrade allows players to boost the gear rating of an Best item upgrader up to 700 points and add a bonus. Items can be upgraded if they're in your inventory and you take them to the kiln.

Certain items are worth upgrading due to their unique stats. (For instance an excellently broken point armor that is rolled can be used in melee PvP). Other items, like weapons aren't changed much after an upgrade and therefore aren't worth it.

Weapons

Weapons can be upgraded to boost their numeric stats, such as the chance to crit, attack damage PvE and damage from PvP. Weapons have a flat-rate bonus that increases damage per second. In addition, many weapons have a set bonus that activates when three or more of the same weapon are equipped on a unit. In some instances, this bonus could amount to more than the amount of damage a weapon can sustain on its own.

The cost of upgrading a weapon varies on its rarity as well as its current level. For instance, an upgrade to a +2 weapon requires two regular Smithing Stones while a+3 requires four. The number of stones needed to upgrade the gun will increase until it requires more Smithing Stones. At that point it will reset to one.

Upgrades to weapons will also reroll the stats of the base. While this is usually beneficial however, it could have negative consequences as well. In the case of items that are only used in a certain build (Whistant's shield for FB Sorcs, for example) upgrading them could make them unusable unless you have an extremely fortunate roll.

It is possible to upgrade armor items to improve their stats. For instance, if you have a helm or chest, this will increase its defense base while gloves and belts will enhance their required strength and dexterity. Armor also has a reroll option for its Enhanced Defense percentage, which means that it may reroll to a lower value.

The upgrade template for a weapon shows the new stats it will get when upgraded in addition to their respective values. This means that the weapon will gain an attack damage of 3% if it is upgraded from an 8 attack damage sword to an 11 attack damage sword. However the 3% does not mean that it will strike 3 times less often, since it is an absolute number.

A weapon can also be rerolled by pressing the green button that has circular arrows within the menu for items. This will roll an item upgrader kit and alter its stats, but it will not reset the weapon's levels or tie it to the account status.

Armor

A few armor upgrades can make the world of difference in your ability to survive. Certain sets can offer massive increases in resistance to curses, poisons and fire as well as magic. This can make it easier to get through difficult terrains. In general, the more defense you can offer your character, the more health you can receive from each point. Therefore, it's a good idea to upgrade your armor.

You can upgrade your armor by visiting one of the Great Fairy Fountains. There are four Great Fairy Fountains in the game, and to unlock each one you have to complete a side quest that involves the Stable Trotters. Once you've completed the main quest, and the corresponding fountains, you can talk to any Great Fairy in order to unlock the armor upgrade menu.

The amount of materials required to upgrade each piece of armor will vary. In general, you're looking at anywhere between three Red Chuchu jellies and 10 Rupees for the first upgrade, and then anywhere from five Rubies and 10 Fire-Breath Lizalfos Horns for each subsequent upgrade. The Champion Leathers, for instance can be upgraded to a 5 defense rating, which will allow you to remain competitive in frigid conditions with a large number of adversaries. The Snowquill Headdress, on the other hand, can be upgraded as high as +20 defense to ensure you're able to survive a battle with your friends.

Note that armor can't be upgraded in the same manner as weapons, so you'll have to focus on enhancing it to increase physical power if you're a Warrior or Spell Power if you're a Mage. It's also a good idea to save your armor upgrades for armor you'll be wearing at the end of the game, like the Ring of Lightning and Spectral Shield, or the helmet you use for the final boss fight as well as the Monter Parts merchant's mask.

By giving the jeweler 10 Twinkling Titanite in Gerudo Town, you can gain some benefits to your armor. Generally speaking, you'll want to keep these upgrades for the weapon you'll be using to win the game, such as the Longsword, Battleaxe or Warhammer However, it is useful to have a few upgrades of the helmets and chest armor that permit you to sneak past certain monsters.

Potions

Potions are liquids that when consumed by a player, give a temporary effect. There are five different types of potions, each with particular effects and durations. Some potions can be upgraded to increase their effectiveness. You can also increase the effects of certain potions by adding glowstone dust and redstone.

Potion upgrades cost a certain amount of XP. This can be earned by crafting them using a craft table or in an Alchemist's chest. The price of upgrades varies based on the type of potion as well as the item's rarity and Mark Level.

To upgrade a potions simply right-click on it in your inventory. Select "Upgrade" from the menu. This opens a GUI in which you can select the potions you want to upgrade and the amount of XP they will produce when upgraded. You can upgrade potions in batches of up to five at a time, and their XP will be added to the total XP you currently have.

Once a potion is upgraded, it will not degrade unless you make use of it again or break the bottle within the container it is kept. You can also rename the potion by clicking it in your inventory.

Version 1.7.2 introduced a few modifications to the mechanism of potions. For instance splash potions now have the duration of 0.08 seconds (this is not the same as the 22.5 seconds shown on the Item Upgrader mod hover display). The table of potion can now be crafted with four Wood Planks and two Glass. This allows it to be utilized by players in Survival and Bedrock. In contrast to the Java Edition, Bedrock edition potions are not able to be combined in cauldrons. The same is true for the use of a potion in the cauldron that is filled. This will drain the liquid, and then refill the bottle.

There are also simmering potions made with dragon breath and splash potions. Redstone can be added to potions that are lingering to increase their effects. The potion table is now laid out more in line with the Java Edition, and new potions were added such as the potion of leaping, the decomposition potion, and turtle master potions.

Trinkets

A trinket is a tiny and affordable ornament or piece of jewelry. It may also refer to an object or decoration that serves a purpose, but is not particularly significant, such as a trinket. In certain cultures, a trinket is a way to show affection or friendship between family members.

Players can upgrade trinkets as well as weapons or armor, as well as potions. Upgrades can be purchased by paying the appropriate currency to an upgrade vendor. Trinkets like other items that can be upgraded can be traded at will without losing statistics.

The upgrade vendors are found in major cities and the capital of each zone, and in some instances in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets are purchased with gold, tokens or fragments of a rare trinket.

Upgrades are a cost-effective alternative to buying a brand new trinket. It is possible to upgrade players for less than 12 tokens. The new trinket will feature the same base ilvl as older one, and come with an additional upgrade bonus of 1.

Trinkets can be upgraded once the old ones are no longer useful and allows players to boost their power and value over time. They can be traded between players and are a viable alternative to gold.

Players should upgrade their most essential items first. This usually refers to the most valuable-in-slot items for their class, then their secondaries and then other items of gear will not be replaced soon (for instance, a ring or cloak). Players should also consider their class's preferred stats when choosing which items to upgrade items. If Haste and Crit are two of the most important stats to a tank player, then they should upgrade their chest, helm, and shoulders.

Once they have become useless trinkets are able to be upgraded to a greater level. The new trinket comes with an additional 1percent bonus. However, a re-upgrade will ruin the previous trinket, unless it is salvaged with a Black Lion Salvage Kit or an alternative salvage tool that is higher-end. Upgrades to trinkets are more expensive than other upgrades, but still less expensive than buying an entirely new trinket.
