The upgrade of gear can increase its base stats and sometimes boosts its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the number of random augmentations applied.

The most powerful racial Shield Razortail, for example, is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption capability in PvP, and/or to add additional defenses to missile-based build in the PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the un-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens are a way to reroll an item you have acquired like a weapon, armor, or ring. The item is swapped for a different one similar one with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens can be an economical method of upgrading equipment. They don't preserve the original item's level and any wasted resources aren't rewarded.

The survivors can acquire reroll tokens through several means such as the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests or buy them from the store for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute on a piece of equipment for example, increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.

Players can roll their equipment in three aspects that include physical power, magical power and health. Physical power increases the damage caused by melee and weapons while spell power improves rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades provide the player with an extra health.

There are three kinds of reroll tokens: upgrade, rare, and legendary. Each of these upgrades an item to a higher quality, with the requirement of an upgraded reroll token in order to produce it. Upgrades require a regular item. Rare upgrades require items that are either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

In contrast to other special tokens and markers that are placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains in the space until the next success result is to be rerolled. This allows you to not waste upgrades.

Blueprints appear as envelopes at the start of each Preparation Phase, and are opened by grabbing them with Interact. In addition, players can get these stones by completing daily contracts.

To upgrade equipment players first need to identify the appropriate item, and then click the "level up" button. This will display a list of the Best item upgrade's current level and what it will be after being leveled-up. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade a piece depends on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.

After selecting the item to upgrade the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay for the cost. After the player has met the requirements, he is able to hit the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. The item will be upgraded in level by a specific percentage. The upgrade process can last between a few seconds and minutes, based on the rarity of the item.

The upgrade process is completely risk-free and does not affect the durability of the item. This makes the system an excellent way for players to gain an advantage in battle without putting a strain on their bank accounts. The process of obtaining Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be a challenge for players who are new to the game. Leveling

Leveling is an option that allows players to increase the base stats of weapons armor, helms and trinkets. The upgrade item Station lets you combine an item with upgrade materials, and then pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade materials will be used up and the item will be upgraded to a higher level. This process can continue until the item is at its highest level.

Items that have upgraded base stats display the blue icon in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments can't be added to more than one item at a time. Additionally, each upgrade component will require a certain number of items to be used and an appropriate amount for the equipment.

The Upgrade Station comes with two slots: the left is where players can put in an item to be upgraded, and the right slot shows a preview of what the equipment will look like once it is at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow once a player has sufficient materials will start the upgrading process.

A piece of equipment may be upgraded up to five times. Each upgrade, the base stats of the item will be increased by a small amount. The maximum level of an best item upgrade is 19.

When an item is at its maximum capacity and is no longer upgraded, it does not have the option to upgrade. When an Best item upgrader is upgraded to a certain track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.

Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be inserted into armor, weapons trinkets and gathering tools to give an additional bonus or effect when the equipment is in use. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, acquired through questing, or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by new ones, but doing so will damage the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs that can be removed and replaced at will.

Requirements

Upgrades to items give players the ability to increase certain attributes of armor and weapons that they currently own. The requirements to upgrade an item differ based on the item type however, generally you'll require Dilithium and a variety of Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).

The upgrade items can be used to make set pieces or weapons to provide additional effects or to increase the quality item. These upgrades can be obtained from many sources, including crafting, buying from the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component is added to an object it cannot be removed or replaced. However the glyphs can be swapped freely.

The upgrade of an item can boost its Mark Level and/or Rarity. In addition, certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that can improve the item's stats.

The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" for example, increases base defense and provides an additional 20% chance to block. In addition the dps upgrade "Wildfire" boosts weapon damage.

Upgrades can be beneficial to certain items, but they are not because they increase stats. They are more valuable for the players if they can get an exact roll. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for instance, is highly valued by the melee PvP communities and could be worth up to 20-50 times that of the unupp'd version.

If you choose an upgrade component that you want to put into an item the game will display a pop-up window that shows the requirements required for that item. These include the type of item (either Weapon or Armor) the tier of the item as well as the upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.

The game will place an item in your inventory after you have completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show how close to finishing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
