robot-vacuum-mops-logo-text-black-png-original.jpgThe majority of robot vacuum that mops vacuums and mops can be customised using a specialized app to save your home's maps setting cleaning schedules, and choose mopping modes. They also let you change suction power and fine tune the amount of water and scrub action your mop makes use of.

A mapping feature can help your robot navigate through rooms, while an obstacle avoidance feature helps it avoid hitting furniture, wires or stray pet toys. These features are crucial in my house filled with toys.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the top-of-the-line vacuum and mop, comes packed with features. It's able to both sweep and mop in one session, and it can even raise its mop pads and brushes to stop soft surfaces from getting too wet. It also can avoid obstacles by looking for pets, plants, and other small objects.

The robotic vacuum has a maximum suction power of 6,000 pascals, which is higher than any other robot vacuum we've tested up to now. It also has PreciSense LiDAR Navigation to track its location, preventing it from becoming stuck on objects.

The S8 Pro Ultra's mopping capabilities are also impressive. It can apply constant pressure to the pad that is over 6 Newtons to give a thorough clean. It also has a mop lifter system that lifts the pad automatically when it is able to switch between tile, laminate, hardwood and carpet or rugs to prevent soaking soft surfaces.

Additionally, the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying features. The pad can be rinsed and then dried with the dock and the dust bin is automatically empty and returned to it. This means you can just set it and forget it, and only need to replace the dust bag or refill the water tank every now and then.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its normal mop- and vac-settings for about 160 minutes before beginning to lose power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This isn't too far off of the 180 minutes that Roborock claims and is in line with other hybrids that I've tested.

This is a very robust and well-rounded product with its only downsides being that it's costly. But, the sheer number of features makes it a tempting alternative for anyone who wishes to go away from their old stick vacuum and mop. We highly recommend this model for those who can afford the cost.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a premium mop and robot vacuum. Its high-end price is justified by its impressive feature set, which includes an impressive vacuuming capacity as well as two gyrating mops. It also comes with an app-based, smart controller and a mighty obstacle avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combos available at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it performed very well throughout the entire home. It removed 98.4% debris on any type of floor and was able to lift hair that was long without tangling. The mops also performed admirably and produced excellent results for cleaning with less effort than many mid-range models. This was due to their rotational movement as well as an effective dose of cleaning solution.

The docking station is the real selling feature of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and sophisticated. The dock emptys its dustbin into dirt bag, then refills its water tank for the mopping function and even dries its mop pads for you. It also has a real-time hazard detection system and lets you schedule periodic cleaning sessions via its intelligent controls.

The L10S Ultra does not offer the best performance in removing carpet debris compared to the other hybrid mop I tried. The mops of the L10S Ultra aren't as effective at removing stubborn stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's premium features, it requires regular maintenance. Its base station needs to be cleaned out and the dustbag and water tanks must be emptied, cleaned and dried regularly to prevent mildew and unpleasant odors. The mop pads that are sold separately will require replacement every few months.

With the L10S Ultra's pricey pricing and its extensive features I would recommend it to anyone with the budget for it. If you're on a budget, I recommend a more basic model that allows you to save money and still enjoy hands-free cleaning at your home. It's important to note that even the L10S Ultra is the best mop and robotic hoovers vacuum you can buy however, its price and ongoing maintenance will ultimately make it more of a desire than a need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop you need to clean up messes and clean dirt off your floors. This powerful robovac and mop combo packs a strong suction force of 8,000 Pa as well as a massive battery capacity to power both vacuuming and mowing, and top-notch obstacle-avoiding. It comes with a roller-mop that is self-cleaning which makes it stand out among other models which require you to return to the base station to wash off the mop pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a big departure from the microfibre pads and spinning discs used in other robots. The roller covers the entire length of the robot and it is supplied with a continuous supply of fresh Ozonated, filtered water from the dock. The roller scrubs the floor while collecting dirt. Any dry debris is picked up with the side brushes, or swept up into the front bumper. The S1 Pro then discharges the mop water that is dirty into its base station which is then absorbed by the tank's heating elements and dumped into a larger storage canister. The onboard tank can hold a substantial amount of water, and can handle up to a half dozen mopping sessions before rushing out.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use out of the package as do most robotic vacuums/mops. The S1 Pro does need to be filled with clean water. This is easily done using the cleaning dock. If you'd like to make use of your own cleaner you can add a cleaning solution to dock. If you opt for this option, however, you will need to buy the Eufy-branded cleaning solution which is more expensive than other robot brands that allow you to use your choice of cleaning products.

Like many robots that are available, the S1 Pro did well in navigation efficiency and coverage evaluations. It was quick to map out a area and moved around furniture. The only issue is that it was stuck a few times on larger pile carpets and rugs during my tests however this could be rectified when the software is updated. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that provides lots of features at affordable prices.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum, and it still has some amazing features. The dock's multifunction emptying the robot's dirtbag, filling its water tanks and washing and sanitizing mop pads is handled by the dock. The mopping system is able to clean a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's extreme suction is perfect for picking up pet hair and other debris from carpets.

The app that runs the appliance is complex, and offers a variety of options for customizing the cleaning process. You can clean manually every area that is mapped by this device or select specific rooms, an expandable zone or a routine you've developed. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It uses the sensors on the mops to map out the space and determine the most efficient method to clean it.

Like all the Roborock models we've tested like all the Roborock models we've tested, the Qrevo does well in our tests. Its navigation system is robust it can map rooms quickly and cleaning them in a neat way. Its "Normal" pathing settings cover a room well, without any major gaps or missed areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance function works well too, but it is not as advanced as color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect hazards like carpets with thick padding, but may not be able recognize smaller items such as electrical wires and rug tassels.

One of the biggest flaws of this model is the absence of a mop after vacuum option that could be an issue for those who spend a lot of time vacuuming before cleaning with their robot vacuums with mop. There's an easy solution: the app has an option that lets you "clean up" at the end of each session. This allows you to use the vacuum's mopping capability to remove the last traces of debris and dust that are left behind by the vacuuming. It's a nice feature, and it helps this robot clean up a little bit better than its less expensive competitors.robotic-vacuum-cleaner-cleaning-the-room-while-wom-2024-11-07-13-20-10-utc-min-jpg-original.jpg
