How to Replace an audi key copy G28 Engine Speed Sensor

1. Engine Speed Sensor

The sensor is used to connect the G40 Camshaft position Sensor. The ecu must know when the crankshaft is TDC and where the camshaft is so it can trigger spark and injectors according to the situation.
If this sensor fails the ECU will throw an error code P00160 which indicates that the Crank Shaft and Intake Camshaft are not in sync, possibly indicating chain stretch or a jumped link on the upper chain of timing. The code won't show without the additional information provided by other sensors (G4 or G40).
It's a bit tricky to test because there are different pins on the connector, and each one has different functions. The most effective method to test it is to measure the resistance between the ECU and the sensor. It should read around 1000 ohms when it is operating at its maximum. Check replacement key for audi signs of coolant or oil in the connector bay if there are issues with this component.
2. Injectors
Yesterday, while accelerating from the highway paytoll at maximum speed I noticed a massive decrease in power. It was as if the engine was running out of gas. Or my injectors weren't firing. I took out the spark plugs this morning, 3 were soaked with gasoline and the fourth was unclean. I put tissue over each injector hole and when i start the engine without sparks, the three that have gazoline pop right out. The fourth one remains shut. I checked the ground connection of ECU pins 14,30, and 48/55. I found zero ohm. I think the issue is somewhere else.
I also tried to reset PID without success. The car will start when the G28 is disconnected, but it works fine when the G28 plugged in. However the intermittent misfire issue continues to occur at higher RPM. The coolant sensor (G62), even when unplugged, still shows temperatures of -49c. I also noticed that the oil gauge in the cockpit shows 2 bars while the actual pressure is zero.
I'm not sure what to do, i believe that i've ruled out everything else. I'm afraid i may have missed something. Please let me know should you have any suggestions! TIA!
3. Fuel Pump
The fuel pump of the g28 receives signals from the RPM sensor. The GM-style sender is identical to the G4 and they both work in the 80 100, 200, UrS and RS2 cars which is why you can easily locate one at a junkyard or from a parts store.
