It's not equipped with the edge-to-edge floor vacuuming offered by the more expensive iRobot Roomba X30. It's also less effective in mopping, as it relies on disposable wet wipes, which don't stick on for long and don't take on dried-on debris. The Q5 does come with an auto-emptying dock, however. If you want to, you can switch the mopping pad to a dry one in minutes.

2. IRobot Roomba

The iRobot Roomba X30 is a compact elegant vacuum cleaner that can mop floors. Its nimble navigation and intelligent cleaning maps make it easy to clean and efficient in dealing with larger particles such as pet hair. It also features a self-emptying bin, powerful suction, and support for virtual boundaries. It's the most efficient robotic hoover for carpets, but it's not as good as other hoovers in terms of deep cleaning.

This highly efficient combination vacuum and mop uses advanced sensor technology to avoid obstacles and pet waste, and it will learn the layout of your home over time for more efficient cleaning. 3. IRobot Roomba X40

This robot vacuum and mop combination has a sleek, circular look that looks much like a Roomba model than the boxy models of the rivals. It's one of our most attractive looking robot vacuums. The latest flagship model from iRobot is also among its most advanced. It has advanced features such as enhanced dirt detection and future compatibility (another company's robot that is able to wash mop pads on its own).

It's the only robot vacuums uk vacuum/mop that scored a perfect 10 in our tests, thanks to a combination of high-tech sensors, including cameras, a structured light system, and multiple lasers. The X40 Ultra is also the only robot in our tests that can fully autonomously refill and empty its base station, and it boasts industry-leading 12,000Pa suction and self-cleaning mop pads.

Like other iRobot models, the X40 is user-friendly, with an easy mobile app interface and integration with Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit as well as Google Assistant. The only issue is that the X40 is still a noisy unit. This could be a problem in mornings before work, or during the night when you are trying to fall asleep.

It's also somewhat expensive, although it's not as expensive as the Ecovacs Omni or the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra both of which are equally capable and more attractive. It's a dual-purpose vacuum that is very efficient however it's going to cost you more and make more noise.

iRobot L20 Ultra

The L20 Ultra is the top-of-the best robot vacuum and mop. It has a number of advanced features that will make you forget about your chores. The L20 Ultra is a hands-free cleaner like Ecovacs top-of-the-line X2 Omni or Roborock's S8 Pro Ultra. It comes with a multi-function dock that will automatically emptys the bin of the vacuum and refills the water tank, and cleans and dry mop pads.

The smart robot vacuum uk utilizes LIDAR and structured lighting to map out floor plans and detect obstacles. It is more efficient in its navigation than its competitors with premium features. It can be used to make cleaning schedules, set up a spot clean or to prioritize your most filthy rooms to improve performance. The app offers a variety of options, including seasonal suggestions, custom mapping, and advanced cleaning settings.

Its shape is more rectangular than other robot vacuums, which means it can get to corners and underneath furniture better. It also has a strong 8000 Pascal suction and intelligent combs for hair of pets. You can also create a spot-cleaner which will thoroughly clean the area.

The Miele Scout RX3 Home Vision HD is a more sleek, cheaper alternative to iRobot Roomba. It has a more attractive design, akin to Dolce & Gabbana.
