It also comes with an automatic mop lifting system that will raise the pad when it goes from tile to laminate hardwood, carpet and rugs to avoid the possibility of soaking these soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be cleaned and heat-dried within the dock and the dust bin is automatically empty and returned to it. This means you can just leave it in place and forget it, and only need to replace the dust bag or refill the water tank occasionally.

All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its usual mop and vac-settings for approximately 160 minutes before it started to run out of power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This isn't that far from the 180 minutes Roborock claims and is on the same level with other hybrids I've tested.

It's a comprehensive, reliable product. The only issue is that it's expensive. However, its sheer abundance of features makes it a very tempting alternative for anyone who wishes to ditch their old stick vacuum and mops. We would highly recommend this autonomous vacuum if you can justify its price.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a premium mop and robot vacuum. Its price is justified by its robust feature set, which includes an impressive vacuuming capacity as well as two gyrating mops. It comes with an app-enabled smart controller as well as powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros, which is one of the highest robotic hoovers vacuum and mop combos on the market. Despite the L10S Ultra's numerous premium features, it requires regular care and maintenance. The base station must be cleaned and the water and dust tanks must be emptied, cleaned and dried regularly to prevent mildew and unpleasant odors. The mop pads that are sold separately will require changing regularly.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the money. If you're on a budget, I recommend a more basic model that lets you to save money while still being able to enjoy hands-free cleaning at your home. Even if the L10S Ultra was the best robotic mop and vacuum combination you could find, its high cost and frequent maintenance will make it more of an option than a necessity.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop you require to tidy up mess and get rid of dirt from your floors. If you do select this option you'll have to purchase the cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other robot brands that allow you to use your personal cleaning products.

The S1 Pro performed well in the navigation efficiency and coverage tests, as did the majority of robots that vacuum and mop. It was fast to map a room and it was able to navigate through furniture. It was stuck on carpets with thick piles several times during my tests. However, this could be improved by updating the software. The S1 Pro is a very robust robot that is available at an affordable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level vacuum and mop however it has several impressive features. The multi-function dock emptys the robot vacuum with mop's dirtbag, and refills its water tanks, while washing and sanitizing the mop pads as they go. The mopping system is capable of cleaning a good bit of a space before returning to its dock and the vacuum's high suction does a nice job of removing dirt and pet hair on carpets.

The app that runs the appliance is complex, and offers various options to customize the cleaning process. You can choose to manually start the full map and then clean of everything mapped by the device, or you can select specific rooms, expandable zones or even a routine you've set up. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It utilizes the sensors on the mops to map the space and determine the most efficient way to clean it.

The Qrevo did well in our tests, just like the other Roborock models we've tested. Its navigation system is solid it can map rooms quickly and cleaning them in a systematic fashion. Its 'Normal' pathing setting is excellent at covering a space, with no gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard-avoidance feature works well, but it's not as sophisticated as the color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can identify hazards such as thick carpets but it might not always be able to detect smaller items such as rug tassels or electrical wires.

The machine has a major problem: it doesn't offer a mop after vacuuming. This could be a problem for those who vacuum frequently prior to using their robot. Fortunately, there's a simple solution: the app offers the option to "clean up" at the end of each session. You can make use of the vacuum's mopping functions to remove the dust and traces that remained after vacuuming.
