The best robot cleaner Robot Vacuum That Mops

Noah Pinsonnault is a product review analyst for the Home Care and Cleaning Lab at good robot vacuum Housekeeping.

He tests and evaluates cleaning appliances. His main focus is robot vacuums with mop vacuums, and mopping combinations. Multitaskers can be ideal for those who want to get rid of mopping off their to-do lists. Some models have superior navigation and obstacle avoidance. Others even wash and refill mopping pads for a hands-free clean.

The Eufy S1 Pro

This is the model you should select if you're looking for an automatic vacuum cleaner that can also mop. It's smaller than the other options and makes it more maneuverable in tight spaces or under furniture. It comes with a 220 degree Lidar that, combined with the 3D Matrix Camera System, gives it some of my favorite navigation and object avoidance capabilities I've seen in robot vacuums. It's powered by a 4600mAh battery which can last up to 170 mins when mopping and sucking is set to standard mode. (It can run longer on turbo). It can even return to its dock to replenish its battery during the cleaning.

It's extremely efficient and does an outstanding job of cleaning my two-bedroom apartment. It vacuums carpeted rooms quickly, and hardwood floors in the living room, kitchen and hallways in just one pass. Its suction motor of 8,000pa will quickly pick up dirt, crumbs, and pet hair. Carpet detection automatically boosts power when it comes in contact with carpets and the two side brushes help pull away debris from corners.

The mopping performance, while still impressive, is not as good robot vacuum. The mop's rotating motor spins at a high velocity and it pushes down with 2.2lbs of force, effortlessly scrubbing up dirt and staining. I've noticed that the front arms protrude out a bit more than other robots, which is helpful for getting into tight corners and along baseboards. Those same front arms can be employed to clean up larger debris, like broken toys and books.

The S1 Pro is also one of the quietest robot mops and vacuums I've tried. It doesn't make the same amount of noise while vacuuming or mopping and is quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The S1 Pro is only limited by the fact that it must use a mopping solution that is proprietary and is sold separately. It is simple to install and performs well. However should you purchase this vacuum solely for mopping purposes you must pay attention to this.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo stands apart from most robot vacuums that Mop vacuums that mops in its class. It is equipped with a broad array of features that make it an ideal choice for homeowners who want a highly effective, versatile and ad-hoc cleaning machine.

The device is equipped with an efficient cleaning system that combines LiDAR sensor technology with an RGB camera. This enables it to map out the home and find furniture and other obstacles. It then uses this information to clean methodically and intelligently. This ensures a thorough and consistent clean, while also being relatively rapid.

The Q Revo DuoRoller mop pad can reach a variety of surfaces. This includes corners, baseboards, and other difficult-to-access spots. They also come with a stretchy side brush that can be extended to the floor in close proximity to walls and other fixtures. The mop pads are also washable and can be dried to eliminate odors and stop buildup.

Another noteworthy feature is the customization options that are available through apps. The Q Revo allows you to alter the intensity of its suction and select between a back-andforth or more random patterns. You can also select the number of passes which determines how fast it can move around your home. You can also decide to disable the side brush to avoid damaging carpets and rugs.

The device comes with a high price tag but is packed with a wide array of innovative features. It's important to keep in mind that it has regular costs in the form of mopping supplies and maintenance. For example the brushroll has to be replaced after 300 hours or every six to 12 months. The filter should be cleaned after 150 hours, and the mop pads should be changed every three months.

This robot vacuum mop is a top Amazon rating and includes a wide range of physical automation features. This includes an energy button that can also function as a general 'Clean button as well as a Home' button that will send it back to its base station after completing its cleaning session. It also comes with a multi-functional dock that automatically empties the trash bin and refills its water tank to mop and washes and dries its mop pads.

The Shark Matrix Plus

The Shark Matrix Plus will be the ideal option for busy professionals or anyone who needs to keep their home neat without spending too much time on chores. It is a powerful machine with intelligent navigation, and a long battery life that makes it simple to keep your home clean with minimal effort.

The Matrix Plus is a 2-in-1 robot vacuum and mop, which means it can handle mopping and vacuuming. It has two modules: a combined dry bin and water reservoir, and a separate mopping unit with microfiber pads that snap into and out of position. It's a bit old-fashioned to have separate modules for mopping and vacuuming but it does mean you don't have to fret about changing the bags for disposables or refilling the tank with water.

The Matrix Plus performed well at both vacuuming and mopping. Its greatest feature was its precise map of your floorplan that it uses to create a route when cleaning. The Matrix Plus was able to navigate effortlessly around furniture, rugs and other obstacles. The app allows you to create 'No-Go Zones' and virtual barriers to prevent certain areas from being cleaned by mop.

The Matrix Plus also did a amazing job of collecting hair of pets. It was able capture the majority of hair our cats shed, and even found its way into the nooks and crannys of our stairs, where other robots struggled. It was fairly silent and also had a few lovely jingles to let you know when it was beginning or finishing its work.

The app was too easy and you had to switch the modules every time you switched between vacuuming and mops. The app isn't able to store multiple maps, which can be a hassle if you have a home that has a variety of floors. The Matrix Plus robot is a ideal choice for people who want a smart device that can mop and vacuum.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni is the most expensive robotic cleaner and mop vacuum that is able to mop in our review, but it comes with some distinct features that make it worth a look. The X1 Omni's most appealing feature is its massive dock which doubles as a charging base and housing for two 4 liter water tanks, a cleaning sink as well as an automatic 2.5-liter dust bin that automatically empties.

The base also has a number of buttons to control the system. These let you manually start a cleaning job and then recall the robot or run the dock's auto-emptying process. Hold down two buttons to switch off the child lock. This is a great feature for parents who are worried about their children playing with the vacuum.

The Omni Omni like other robotic vacuums, utilizes its camera to detect furniture and obstacles in its path. It will steer clear of them. Its True Mapping 2.0 navigation system maps your home 10 times faster than laser detection systems and is four times more precise in finding objects.

This can cause the X1 to become stuck if it is entangled in a hazard, such as a power cable tangled over a rug. It will not work until you remove it manually. While it was not common however, it was a gruelling experience when it happened, especially since the X1 Omni does not have an "stuck" status alert in its application.

Another potential downside is the X1 Omni's inability to automatically switch between mopping and vacuuming modes during cleaning. You will need to manually switch between the two, which isn't a big deal aside from the fact that mopping pads aren't cleaned and dried between uses, which can lead to mildew or mold.

On the positive side, the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking robot, thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who dreamed up its modern and sleek base as well as mopping pad. It's a big contrast to the basic black bases of rivals like Roborock or iRobot. It's also a welcome sight for a market dominated by clunky boxes.robot-vacuum-mops-logo-text-black-png-original.jpg
