The Roomba J7+, iRobot's most advanced robot to date is the Roomba j7+. Its most significant innovation is a camera-based obstacle detection system that utilizes built-in AI to detect objects like charging cords, shoes and the pet waste that most other robots can't avoid (and often go through). It's the first robot to provide you with images of objects that it encounters, so you can instruct that it is safe to avoid it.

The Combo J7+ is the most efficient robot mop we have ever tested. It cleans up dirt and spills quickly leaving no trace it was there. The iRobot app makes it easy to control. It can schedule cleanings, and also create Keep Out Zones to ensure it doesn't clean in areas that you don't wish to. It's also compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can start and stop it by speaking to it.

Its design is also superior to the rest with a sleek top piece that appears more like a toy robotic than a loud, obnoxious one. The Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal System self-empties and is ideal to reduce the time spent cleaning.

In our tests the j7+ performed quick to pick up and remove dust dirt, pet hair and other particles. The counter-rotating rubber brush roll kept the debris in one location instead of scattering it around the floor. It was able to capture sand, small gravel and even a tiny bit of grit. Most robots could not achieve this feat. It did all without getting caught up in our pet's hair.

Although it's not as sophisticated as the Roomba s9+ Self-Emptying Vacuum and can't clean stairs, the J7+ is an excellent choice for those who need mopping and a vacuum in their home. It's not expensive, and the iRobot app makes it very user-friendly to use.

While the iRobot Home app is very user-friendly however we've found it be less reliable than other apps that work with robotic cleaners. It can take some time to download updates and it is sometimes difficult to determine if they are functioning until you actually witness them in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you are looking for a robot vacuum cleaner that can do more than simply clean your floors A hybrid is the best option. These bots are equipped with a tank of water so they can vacuum and mop simultaneously. They also come with a variety of extra features, including smart mapping, small object avoidance, and the possibility of washing and re-drying mopping pads. The disadvantage is that they can be pricey at full retail, but during Black Friday and Cyber Monday they are often reduced in price.

Roborock produces some of our favorite robotic vacuums and the Q5+ does not disappoint. It's their most affordable auto-empty model, and although it's not equipped with some of the premium features that are found on more expensive models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's a great option if you're willing compromise a bit in order to save some hundred dollars.

The Q5+ is noticeable gentle around obstacles like table legs and walls and walls, which makes it a good option for homes with a lot of furniture. It's also very thorough in cleaning up dust bunnies. This is a area where many cheaper robot vacuums do not excel in. The technology used to navigate in the Q5+ is superb and has very few misses in corners and along walls.

Like other Roborock devices like the Q5+, the Q5+ can be controlled by the buttons on the device itself or via the Roborock app. The app allows you to start and stop cleaning. You can also set schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go areas or modify your home map or re-label the rooms.

If you decide to go with the Q5+ model, it comes with a brand new auto vacuum-empty dock that's specifically designed to make the robot easy to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver, but once in place it is done without difficulty. It also features a large LCD display which is great to have when you're setting up schedules or altering settings. This feature isn't required for most people but it can help easily keep track of the robot's maintenance schedules.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot mop and vacuum that's incredibly intelligent in its vacuuming and mopping capabilities. Its design and function are among the best automatic Floor Cleaner on the market however it's expensive.

It is a relatively small base station that looks great and is able to be concealed when not in use. The station's main selling point is that it can automate many tasks, functions, and chores that other robots leave to you. It can keep clean and dirty water, and then electrolyze and heat the water. The majority of other robots require this.

Its vacuuming capabilities are impressive, too. It's one of the only robovacs that I've tried that does an excellent job of cleaning up debris from unfinished floors, and it's not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot the 900 series.

The Freo X Ultra is not without faults, particularly in the area of navigation. Its laser sensors and LiDAR sensors aren’t as reliable as other robovacs. This means that it is prone to getting stuck or get confused in certain corners or rooms in the house. It's not able to navigate stairs as well as competitors, either and it doesn't have a dock that allows you to set up an area for cleaning that is specifically designed for carpets with plush padding.

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an excellent choice for those who want an automated cleaning vacuum that can do everything.

However, if you're looking to save money or simply don't care about the limitations of this machine there are many alternatives on the market which include a variety of eufy models that cost considerably less. The eufy Qrevo Curv, for instance, is cheaper and offers the same experience in the app, but with more features like the ability to climb stairs, a full-function dock, and better overall performance when vacuuming floors and low and high-pile carpets.

4. Eufy RoboVac G30

Eufy, an Anker company is a long-standing leader of making robot vacuum sale vacuums that strike the perfect balance between performance, features and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning of hard and carpet floors, as well as mopping functions at an affordable price. It's simple to set up simply by snapping one of the side brushes on, switch it on, and plug it into the charging dock. The app walks you through a few steps to connect it to your Wi-Fi. After that, the G30 is ready to go. You'll need to leave the dock near an electrical outlet and ample space to allow it to move around, however.

The G30 is small, 2.85 inches tall to be precise and can be tucked away under couches and other furniture with a low clearance. Its design is more subtle in comparison to other models. The G30 on the other hand is more affordable and is much easier to maintain. Its smaller dust canister does not require emptying as often and it has less trouble with bulky materials like cereal.
