Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos

The majority of robot vacuum-mop combinations can be customised using an application designed specifically for the purpose. You can save your home's maps, create cleaning schedules and choose mopping modes. You can also adjust the suction power, as well as how much water the mop is using.

The robotic vacuum has a suction power of 6,000 pascals, which is more than any other robot vacuum we've tested up to now. It also has PreciSense LiDAR Navigation, which tracks its location, preventing it getting stuck on a surface.

Mopping capabilities are also impressive, with the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of more than 6 Newtons to the mop pad to provide deep cleaning. It also has mop lifter technology that will lift the pad automatically as it changes between tile and laminate, hardwood and carpet or rugs, in order to avoid soaking the soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be rinsing and heat-drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. This means that you can set it and forget it, only needing to change the dust bag or refill the water tank on occasion.

All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. I ran it on its normal vac and mop settings for about 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to get power hungry and returned to its base to recharge. This isn't that far from the 180 minutes that Roborock claims and is at par other hybrids I've tested.

It's a robust, well-rounded product. The only downside is that it's expensive. However, its sheer abundance of features makes it a tempting choice for anyone looking to go away from their old stick vacuums and mops. If you are able to justify the hefty price tag, we highly recommend checking this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end combination. The premium price is justified by its robust features, such as a huge vacuuming capability and two mop heads that gyrate. It has an app-enabled smart controller as well as an advanced obstacle-avoidance system.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combos available, at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my testing it was able to perform very well in all areas of the home, taking out 98.4% of debris on all floor types and managing to lift long hair without getting caught in. The mops also performed admirably with excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models. This was due to their rotational movement as well as a strong dose cleaning solution.

The docking station is the primary selling feature of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and modern. The docking station emptys the dustbin into a bag to collect dirt, fills up the water tank to use for mopping, and even dry mop pads. It also has a real-time safety detection system and allows you to schedule regular cleaning sessions with its intelligent controls.

Unlike the other hybrid vacuum mops I've tested and compared, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris removal on carpets. The mops of the L10S Ultra are not as effective at removing stubborn staining as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's top-of-the-line features, it still requires regular maintenance. Its base station needs to be cleaned out and the dustbag and water tanks should be cleaned, emptied and dried on a regular basis to avoid mildew and unpleasant odors. The mop pads that are sold separately will also require replacement every few months.

Given the L10S Ultra's premium cost and robust features I would highly recommend it to anyone with the money for it. If you're on a tight budget I suggest a more basic model that will allow you to save money while still being able to enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. It's important to note that even the L10S Ultra is the best automatic vacuum robotic vacuum and mop combination you can purchase however, its cost and maintenance costs will ultimately make it more of a desire rather than a requirement.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop that you need to clean up messes and remove dirt from your floors. This high-powered mop and robot vacuum combo comes with an impressive suction power of 8,000 Pa as well as a massive battery that can be used for mopping and vacuuming, and top-notch obstacles-avoiding. It has a mop with a roller that cleans by itself which makes it stand out from other models that require you to return to the base station to wash off the mop pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a significant departure from the microfibre pads and spinning discs of other robots. The roller covers the entire length of the robot and it gets a constant supply of clean water that is filtered and ozonated from the dock. While it spins, the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt, and any dry debris is removed by the side brushes or swept away into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro then takes the mop water into its base station, which is then absorbed by the tank's heating elements, and then pumped into a larger storage bin. The tank onboard is able to hold a large amount of water, and can handle up to a half dozen mopping session before running out.

Like most robotic vacuums and mop sets like the S1 Pro is ready to roll out from the box. The S1 Pro needs to be refilled with clean water. This can be done in the cleaning dock. You can also add cleaning solution to the dock, if you prefer to have the option of using your own cleaner. If you opt for this option however, you'll need to buy the Eufy-branded cleaning solution that is more expensive than other robot brands allowing you to choose your preferred brand of cleaning solutions.

The S1 Pro performed well in the navigation efficiency and coverage tests, as did most robots. It was quick to map a room, and it was able to navigate around furniture. It got stuck on carpets with thick piles a couple of times during my tests. However this could be improved by updating the software. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that offers lots of features at a reasonable cost.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level vacuum and mop, but it still has several impressive features. The multi-function dock emptys the robot's dirtbag and refills its water tanks, washing and sanitizing mop pads as it goes. The mopping system is able to clean a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's extreme suction is great for picking up pet hair and other debris from carpets.

The application that runs this appliance is complex, with a broad variety of options to personalize the cleaning process. You can set it up manually to start an entire map and clean of everything that is mapped by the device or you can pick particular rooms, expandable zones or even a routine you've crafted. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It uses the sensors on the mops to map out the area and determine the most efficient way to clean it.

Like all Roborock models we've evaluated, the Qrevo is a great performer in our tests. Its navigation system is solid, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning them in a systematic way. Its "Normal" pathing settings cover the room thoroughly, without any major gaps or missed areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance function works well, but it is not as advanced as the color camera systems found on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can identify dangers like thick carpets but it might not always be able to detect smaller items like rug tassels, or electrical wires.

The most obvious flaw with this device is the absence of a mop after vacuum option that could be a problem for people who spend a lot of time vacuuming before cleaning with their robot. There's a simple solution: the app has an option that allows you to "clean up", at the end of each vacuuming session. This allows you to use the mopping function of the automatic vacuum cleaner and mop to remove the last remnants of dust and debris that are left behind by the vacuuming. This is a nice feature that helps this robot keep its cleanness a bit higher than its cheaper competitors.
