It can even return to its dock to replenish its battery mid-clean.

It's very efficient and does a great job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It vacuums carpeted rooms incredibly quickly and the hardwood floors in the kitchen, living room, and hallways in a single sweep. Its 8,000pa motor is able to remove dirt hair, pet hair, and droppings with ease. Carpet detection automatically boosts power when it comes into contact with rugs, and the two side brushes help to tease away debris from corners.

The mopping performance is a little less impressive, but not by much. The mop's rotating motor spins at a high velocity and it pushes down with 2.2lbs of force, effortlessly scraping away dirt and staining. I've noticed that the front arm protrudes out a bit more than other robots. This is useful when you're trying to get into tight corners or on baseboards. The same front arms can also be used to scoop up larger objects like broken toys and books.

Another good thing is that the S1 Pro is one of the quietest robot vacuums and mops I've tried. It is quieter and doesn't create as much noise when vacuuming or mopping. The S1 Pro is only limited by the fact that it needs to utilize a specific mopping solution and is sold separately. It is easy to set up and works well. However, if you are buying this robot vacuum for mopping purposes it is important to pay attention to this.

The X1 Omni robot vacuum is the most expensive item in our review. However, it does have distinct features that are worth a look. The X1 Omni is notable for its enormous dock that serves as a charging base for the robot, a cleaning sink and two water tanks that are 4 liters in size. It also houses two bins: a 2.5-liter dust bin as well as the 2.5 dust bin that is 2.5 liters.

The base also comes with a set of buttons to control the system. These allow you to manually start a cleaning task, recall the robot, or use the dock's automatic emptying process. Press two buttons to switch off the child lock. This is a great feature for parents worried about their kids messing around with the auto vacuum and mop.

While it was not common but it was a very frustrating experience when it happened particularly since the X1 Omni does not have a "stuck" status alert on its application.

Another issue that could be a problem is the X1 Omni's inability to automatically switch between mopping and vacuuming modes during a cleaning session. You'll need to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't that bad, except that the mopping pad doesn't get cleaned or dried between uses. This can lead to mildew and mold.

The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who designed its sleek, modern base and mopping pad. It's a significant contrast to the basic black bases of rivals such as Roborock or iRobot. It's also an excellent choice for a market dominated by clunky boxy models.
